Denis R. Cook, 71, of Elizabethtown, died May 21, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center after a brief illness.

Denis was retired from OpSec where he was employed as a Master Printer. Honorably discharged as an Air Force Police Sergeant from the Vietnam War, he was co-founder of the Vietnam Security Police Association.

He also served as a Big Brother of Lancaster.

He loved cooking, gardening, a good glass of wine, his family, sailing, and squirrels (just kidding!).

He was married to his wonderful wife Bonnie.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Honert, a son Andrew, stepsons Dan and Chris, stepdaughter, Jen, three grandchildren, Olivia, Everett, and Cooper, and one brother, John.

On Saturday, May 27th, a celebration of Denis' life will be held at the Moose Lodge in Elizabethtown from 1-4 PM, with Military Honors at 2:00 PM.
